A few years ago Nike had a booming campaign that left everybody remembering their slogan; "Just Do It." A couple of years ago The Pew Research Center found that 68% of Christians pray daily. Does that stun you? It does me. If you are a Christian and do not pray daily in some way everyday, what in the world do you do during the day to make yourself think you are a Christian. Arguably, one of the most important parts of a healthy relationship, in any relationship, is communication. Prayer is our communication with God. How can we be in a relationship with Him if we are not speaking to Him? It's more than speaking though; it's listening too. I'll admit I have never heard God speak audibly, but I have had God speak to me. The greatest way to hear God is to meditate on His Word. God definitely still speaks to us, and you will see that in His Word.
